The following schedule and resources will help families continue homeschooling their children who are ages 8-12. The suggested schedule allows for structured group learning 3 days a week for 4 hours each day. Like-minded neighbors and friends may create a co-op where parents take turns teaching and directing the activities within their homes.

Sample School Day
Morning Devotional: (55 min)

Self-directed learning: (2 hours)
Children should be able to read basic instructions before entering this class. Short presentations will be given in math, science, and language arts and children will be encouraged to work independently on their assignments. Parent/leaders and peers are available to answer questions and provide guidance. If math, science, and language arts are presented each day, then the lesson should be limited to 10 minutes. If only one subject is taught per day, then teachers can give a 30 minute lesson. |
